A centrifugal separator is used to separate powder particles for recycling from the exhaust air. Recovered powder particles are fed back to the powder spray guns through a sealed circuit.
The small powder particles which are not separated by the cyclone end up in the exhaust afterfilter. An automatic venting system in the cartridge filter ensures optimal filtering, after which the extracted air is sent back into the spray zone.
This offers effective protection against fire in a powder coating booth with cyclone and sealed filter separator. It becomes active in the event of fire in the powder coating unit and injects CO2 into the exhaust system.
